There are two options for parking on the day of the event:

Transition Field, Beach Road, Harlech

A charge of £2 per car will be used to help the Football Club
No cars will be permitted to leave this car park until 12pm

Harlech Beach Car Park

Continue past the Transition field to the end of Beach Road
Parking is free
This is approximately half a mile from Registration

Registration – Band Hall
Saturday April 8th – 13.00 to 17.00 Follow swimming pool signs and park outside

Sunday April 9th 07:00 to 11:00 Road to hall is closed – after parking follow signposted route at back of transition to registration. You cannot enter transition until you have registered and collected your numbers

Register 45 minutes before your start time

Arrive at your start location 20 minutes before your time for briefing, timing chip collection & leg marking

If monies are due, such as for Day Licenses, only cash will be accepted

If you registered as a BTF member you must show proof of membership or pay a £3.00 day membership fee

Amendments to your personal data will not be accepted after you have registered

TEAMS – All members must go to registration

Your Preparation

You will be given a numbered registration package – its contents and their purposes are described below and on a leaflet given to you  at  registration. Aquathletes and Duathletes, please ignore instructions not relevant to your event.



If you selected a mug or towel as your memento you will collect this at Registration

Competitors with free Finish Line photographs will be sent a voucher code by Sports Pictures Cymru

Hoodies and T-shirts

Pre-ordered Harlech Hoodies and T-shirts can be collected from Registration. Samples will be on display and clothing can be order from our web shop until 23rd April

Castle Access for your Supporters

If you have requested wrist bands for your supporters you will collect these at Registration. The wrist band is valid for the day of the race

Spectators will have access to the Castle from 08:45.  Contact our race marshal at the entrance for admission before the general Castle opening at 09:30

We have a marvellous viewing point for spectators on the lawn of the Middle Ward. It provides a birds’ eye view of the 200 steps as well as transition, Beach Road and the start of the bike route

Finish Area - Harlech Memorial Hall

Results – Immediate details of your performance throughout the course at chip timing display unit. Results lists displayed by event

FREE refreshments for competitors and hot drinks for companions

Kit bag collection

Shops, snacks and meals are available in the High Street

Your Welfare

First Aid – British Red Cross facilities at transition and at the finish

Massage by Stephanie Minkus puremotiontherapy/

Toilets – for competitors only at registration, available for all at the swimming pool and near to Memorial Hall

Public Toilets – at Harlech end of Beach Road, Beach Car Park and Castle Square

Showers – available at swimming pool until 14.00


Final results and trophy awards displayed as soon as possible after the finish of the last competitor

Comments or questions affecting results must be made in person to the race Organiser

Questions affecting overall times will be dealt with at once, those affecting split times in the following days

 Full results will be displayed on the web site as soon as possible after the event

Classes, Awards and Trophies

Presentation will be as soon as possible after the completion of the event – approx. 13.30
Time and location of presentation will be confirmed by notices at the Memorial Hall, displayed from approximately 1.00
Closure of Transition at 15.00 – all bikes and kit must be removed before this time
